CIRES was established as a partnership between Cook Inlet Housing Authority and Re/Max Properties, Inc. Mark Korting, Re/Max Properties, Inc. owner, is a well known, established and respected real estate businessman in the community of Anchorage. A former board member for the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, Mark is also pro-affordable housing and community minded.
Cook Inlet Real Estate Services (CIRES), a Re/Max Properties, Inc. branch office, is a niche real estate consulting firm offering property management services, real estate sales and acquisitions while generating revenues that will be used to further the affordable housing mission of parent company Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA)
.CIRES provides top-notch service administered by a staff of highly trained and experienced professionals. Our management team is not only knowledgeable in property management “nuts and bolts,” but we are also mission driven. Because all profits from CIRES support affordable housing, the CIRES staff is highly motivated to insure the highest level of customer satisfaction for its clients.
CIRES is uniquely situated to offer day-to-day and long-term property management services for other socially minded organizations who own real estate, but are not in the real estate business. When we provide this needed service to other mission driven organizations, they can focus on delivery of services rather than property management activities.
CIRES has also identified a need to offer residential real estate services to CIHA clients as well as other lower-income, first-time or inexperienced home buyers.
